The season for Stonor Park runs between April and December each year. We hold a Volunteer Open Morning in February to recruit new volunteers for the coming season however new volunteers are welcome throughout the season. We are always looking for more volunteers to join our enthusiastic team. We have opportunities for room guides, garden guides and gardeners, as well as volunteers to assist in the Visitor Centre, Events and Gift Shop. Our peak times for volunteers are during July, August and December, although we have opportunities throughout the year.
No experience is necessary except a willingness to talk to visitors, we will provide you will any necessary training. As we are a remote site you do need to be able to drive to volunteer here, however expenses are paid. For more information please contact volunteers@stonor.com or call 01491 638587.
We are also always keen to receive applications for internships and to support young people looking for work experience, be it out and about in the house and grounds or working with our fantastic administrative team.
