Join us for The Moon Witch’s Halloween Adventure at Tumblestone Hollow

Saturday 21st – Sunday 29th October

We’re excited to bring you a new spooktacular experience to Tumblestone Hollow this Halloween. The Moon Witch’s Halloween Adventure returns but with a new twist.

Children are invited to join a Halloween scavenger hunt, exploring the beautiful woodland that surrounds Tumblestone Hollow, ticking off spooky items and solving mystical riddles along the way. But beware! Hiding in the shadows is the Moon Witch herself. Can you spot her? We think she’s trying to steal the Moon Stone from our beloved Stone Circle.

Pumpkin Carving

There will be pumpkins galore in the Pumpkin Patch for children to select and carve while we handle the mess (separate ticket applies). We recommend booking your Pumpkin Carving when you purchase your event tickets online to guarantee one on the day. 

Refreshments

Satisfy your cravings with wood-fired pizzas boasting mouthwatering toppings, cooked to perfection in our wood-fired oven. Choose from a Petrifying Pepperoni or Terrifying Tricolore to a Creepy Caprino or Monstrous Margherita.

Bite into handmade burgers made from local organic longhorn beef. Warm up with freshly made creamy hot chocolates, savour traditional toffee apples, and cool down with Italian ice cream and American style milkshakes.

Did you know we have a book?

Copies of The Moon Witch and the Thief, a hardback book written especially for Tumblestone Hollow, are available to buy from the Visitor Centre. The story shares the adventures of the hollow folk as they welcome a mysterious stranger then question the safety of the Moon Stone and their previous Stone Circle.

New to Tumblestone Hollow?

For those who have not yet been, Tumblestone Hollow has been hiding in plain sight, right under our noses for many millennia. It’s a place of laughter and light, shadow and sunshine, peace and tranquility. Most importantly, for young and old, friends and family, it’s a beautiful, magical place to play together. But it does also get a bit spooky at Halloween time!

Timings & Prices

Open 9:30am-5pm, Saturday 21st – Sunday 29th October, with pumpkin carving every 30 mins. Book online in advance to receive discounted tickets from £8.50.

Kids under 92cm enter free!  There’s also a Family of 4 ticket (mix of adults and children) for £37. Pumpkin Carving requires an additional ticket for £6.

Tickets include access to the Tumblestone Hollow Adventure Playground and Stonor Gardens. The scavenger hunt will be running in all weather, so please bring wellies and coats if it’s wet and wear appropriate footwear for a woodland trail. We ask politely that any buggies are left in cars due to the woodland pathway not being buggy or wheelchair friendly.
