Stonor ParkFit Outdoor Workout Session2nd December - 23rd December
Fitness just got fresher with our new initiative to get outdoors and get active with Stonor ParkFit
We are delighted to have partnered with the brilliant Cynergy Personal Trainers to provide a programme of post-lockdown, socially-distanced fitness classes set in our beautiful Gardens and deer park. Texan, Cat Batson, a Level 3 PT and UK Athletics Coach will be bringing her popular energetic sessions to Stonor. Each session is an hour and geared to improve cardiovascular health and overall strength. Cat is keen to emphasise that fitness includes mental health too and says “During these past few months many have suffered with the isolation that the lockdown imposed and this promises to be a most uplifting experience.”
All abilities are welcome. The professionally trained instructor(s) will happily offer alternative suggestions to make exercises more or less difficult. Classes will initially take place at 9.15am every Wednesday. We will add additional classes on other days as demand requires.
Classes are priced at £15. Parking is free with thoroughly steam-cleaned toilet facilities and a coffee vendor, should you need an extra boost!
Please do come along and join us for Stonor ParkFit with Cynergy PT and make the most of our park and woodland setting as a healthy and inspiring place to get fit.
Note, you need to bring your own exercise mat if you wish to take part in our outdoor workout sessions.
Completion of our online Stonor ParkFit Outdoor Pre-activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) is required before attending your first session. Please Click here to complete the form.
We are very pleased to have partnered with Patagonia to provide £1 from every session booked to Patagonia Action Works. For almost 40 years, Patagonia has supported grassroots activists working to find solutions to the environmental crisis. The initial money we raise will be donated to Rewilding Britain, one of Patagonia's grantee charities, whose aim is for at least one million hectares in Britain to support natural ecological processes for the benefit of people and nature. Rewilding Britain want rewilding to flourish across Britain – to tackle the climate emergency and extinction crisis, reconnect people with the natural world, and help individuals and communities thrive with new opportunities.
