Dogs are not allowed within Tumblestone Hollow, the Gardens or in Stonor House. Please do not bring your dog with you and leave them in your car. We will break car windows to release dogs if they are in any distress.
Harnessed guide or assistance dogs are always welcome.
Tumblestone Hollow is at Stonor Park, which is located between the M4 (J8/9) and the M40 (J6) on the B480 Henley-on-Thames – Watlington Road. Stonor is a 10 minute drive north from Henley, only an hour from London, 40 minutes from Oxford and Heathrow and half an hour from Reading.
If you are approaching Stonor Park on the M40 motorway from the East and are using a Satellite Navigation system please ignore any instructions to exit the motorway on either Junctions 4 or 5 as this will add up to an hour to your journey. Please only exit at Junction 6.
The nearest railway station is Henley-on-Thames and taxis are available from the Station.
Tumblestone Hollow is set in a natural woodland on uneven ground on the side of a hill and whilst some areas maybe accessible for wheelchair users, it would involve some challenging manoeuvring.

We don’t have any cash machines on site. The nearest cash machines are in Henley-on-Thames and Watlington.
Any found lost property will be taken to and stored at the Visitor Centre for around a week. If you find any item of lost property yourself please take it to the Visitor Centre or hand to a member of staff.
Yes, you will just need to show your ticket or wristband to allow you to gain entry back into the park.
We have a first aid facility at the Visitor Centre, with trained staff on hand. However, if you require first aid please approach any member of staff and we will assist straight away. At the current time this may include support from our trained staff for visitors to administer self-treatment or assisting to request emergency treatment from the ambulance service.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food which you may eat in any of the picnic areas. But we do serve hot and cold drinks, including delicious Illy coffee, and snacks every day from the Visitor Centre, our own delicious wood fired pizzas from The Rumble Hut on many days and also hot food and Afternoon tea in the Pantry on Sundays.
You may not consume your own food in any of the cafes.

If you wish to make a complaint during your visit please notify a member of management. If you wish to raise a complaint after you have left the attraction please e-mail enquiries@stonor.com sending full details of the nature of the complaint including your contact information, name, address, contact phone number & email address. We will require proof of your attendance before we are able to deal with your complaint.
At the current time due to COVID safety measures all tickets have to be purchased online in advance so that we can safely manage the number of people at Stonor at any one time. No tickets are currently available to purchase on site at Stonor.
We do sometimes offer discounted tickets which are only available online, these need to be purchased in advance up to midnight the day before your intended date of visit. At all other times the price is the same.
Please bear in mind that during these strange COVID times, we are only operating at a very reduced capacity, which does mean that some sessions will be completely sold out. We do therefore advise that you should book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment and to keep everyone safe during your visit.
During the low season the Visitor Centre will always be open for coffee and snacks. On busy days The Rumble Hut will be open in Tumblestone Hollow and The Pantry Cafe inside Stonor House will also be open. Please check the website for up-to-date information.
Tumblestone Hollow is an outdoor attraction with some uneven surfaces, So please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear and expect to get a little dirty on wet days.
Lost children will be taken to the Visitor Centre whilst their parents/ carers are located.

There are no age restrictions on play within Tumblestone Hollow and we do encourage people all of all ages to enjoy their play together. We do ask that older children, who may be a little more boisterous, respect and take care of younger children (and older people) who may be a little more cautious.
We have several places to eat, dependent on season. The Visitor Centre will always serve hot and cold drinks – Including amazing Illy Coffee – and snacks. On busy days The Rumble Hut in Tumblestone Hollow will serve delicious pizzas from our incredible Wood Fired Pizza Oven.
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited other than in the designated smoking areas near the Visitor Centre. You may NOT smoke anywhere within Tumblestone Hollow, Stonor Gardens or in Stonor House.

The nearest train station is Henley on Thames which is approximately 5.5 miles from Stonor Park and takes around 15 minutes in a taxi.

Yes, we have baby changing facilities available in the Visitor Centre and in the toilets inside Tumblestone Hollow.
If the park is temporarily closed we will try our best to transfer your booking to an alternate date subject to availability.
Yes, we have a small Gift Shop within the Visitor Centre and a larger Gift Shop in Stonor House on days that the latter is open.
You are welcome to pray during your visit to the park, but we do not have any specific prayer areas.
There are animals such as Deer throughout the grounds of Stonor Park, but none within Tumblestone Hollow. If you look up, you will see the giant Red Kites flying above the trees who are native to this area of Oxfordshire, as well as Ravens, Buzzards, woodpeckers and three species of Owls (if you are here late!).
There is a special area for younger visitors with a sandpit, swings, water play, a climbing area and slide.
