Access to the Gardens and car park will only be possible with a pre-booked timed ticket, available from our ticketing website only.  No tickets will be available to purchase on site at Stonor.  We therefore ask that all visitors respect our local communities, staff and each other, and only travel to Stonor if you have pre-booked a ticket.

Groups of 20 or more (or smaller with a minimum spend of £240.00) are welcome at most times of year by appointment and can enjoy privately guided tours of either the House and Chapel, the Gardens on their own, or The House, Chapel and Gardens.  Private tours of just the House & Chapel also include full access to the Gardens but do not included a private guided tour of the Gardens. Please contact groups@stonor.com to book your group visit.

Note to Visitors

As the house is a collection of medieval buildings behind a Georgian facade, it is not suitable for wheelchairs as even the ground floor is not on one level. However, everyone's disability is individual and there are chairs at intervals for visitors to rest. To see the first floor there are flights of stairs - one up and another down.

Lavatories are located at the Visitor Centre by the car park.  Please note there are no lavatories in the House.

Dogs are allowed in the parkland but must be on leads at all times because of the herd of deer.  Dogs are not allowed in the formal gardens, Wonder Woods, or inside Stonor House and the Pantry.
