Choosing your backdrop

From elegant front lawns framed by the exquisite setting of Stonor House,  to the elevated plateau of Drovers’ Hill enjoying sweeping views across the Chilterns, Stonor Park has a space to suit every imagination and style.

THE LAWNS

Located at the front of the house, The Lawns have been the first choice for marquee weddings for many years.

They offer the backdrop of the mellow brick, rose covered house and chapel and are surrounded by Copper Beech and Sycamore trees. They also provide superb views along the valley at sunset.

The Italianate Pleasure Garden

Backed by lily ponds and fountains, this is a perfect location for a champagne drinks reception.

During the summer months you can see Iris, old fashioned roses, peonies and lavender starting to bloom around the 17th century terrace. Intriguing paths lead you past the walled kitchen gardens on to the nut trees and arboretum beyond.

THE PARK

The Park offers a variety of aspects and both sheltered and open areas for a perfect wedding. With a herd of Fallow Deer to add to the backdrop of the house, The Park offers a wonderfully serene and private setting for a perfect wedding.

DROVERS' HILL

A charming location thanks to the glorious views and sunsets, Drovers’ Hill affords the most perfect view of the Stonor valley in its entirety and beyond. Guarded by a variety of trees and with views over the surrounding counties, Drovers’ Hill provides a dramatic and picturesque location for your perfect day. It is the ideal location for a village of bell tents, giant teepees and burning braziers to create a magical Woodland Wedding on a Summer’s night.
