At Stonor
Stonor Park is an historic, privately owned stately home and garden open to the public located north of Henley-on-Thames in South Oxfordshire. Stonor has been the residence of the Stonor Family for over 850 years making it one of the oldest family homes still lived in today. The earliest parts of the house date from the 12th Century.
The house contains a unique collection of family treasures collected over the centuries, including family portraits, old masters, furniture and sculptures as well as one of the oldest family archives in Great Britain.
In addition to opening the house to the public, Stonor has recently extended its play area into the mysterious world of Tumblestone Hollow, and hosts a wide range of events including Supercar Sunday, Gifford Circus, open air summer concerts, Antique and Vintage Car Boot Fair series, The Henley Country Craft Show, The Christmas Craft Fair and Christmas at Stonor.

Stonor Park is a Historic House, open to visitors seasonally and we are looking to recruit catering staff in a number of roles, including a supervisor and assistants, for our Shepherd Hut catering units. We are interested in individuals with experience in the catering industry to manage the day to day running. Ideally the successful candidates will have knowledge of some or all of the following: taking orders, food preparation and service, use of a ‘Barrista’ type coffee machine (training can be given) and hold a current Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering certificate. Our house chef will be on hand to offer guidance and support. Catering is an integral part of our visitor experience and we are looking for individuals with excellent customer service and a positive attitude.

Various roles are available, and any experience in retail, operating merchandise tills, catering in food and beverage facilities is an advantage, but not a necessity.
Candidates should have a friendly approachable manner, be honest, reliable and good at timekeeping.
Living locally and holding a Drivers Licence is helpful due to country location.
